These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the transportation services provided by Chauffeur Services NYC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and your use of our website at chauffeurservicesnyc.com. By booking a ride, submitting a request, or using our services in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
Booking & Reservations
All bookings are subject to confirmation and vehicle availability. Submit requests as early as practical, especially for events, airport trips, and specific vehicle classes. A request does not guarantee that a particular vehicle or chauffeur is available.
When you submit a booking through our website, by phone, or by email, you will receive a response with the available trip details and quote. Your booking is confirmed only when the reservation team explicitly confirms it. Review the route, timing, vehicle class, passenger count, luggage, price, and included charges before accepting.
Events, weddings, and multi-vehicle bookings may require more lead time, a service agreement, or a deposit. The written quote will state any requirement that applies.
You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, correct flight information (including airline, flight number, and terminal), the correct number of passengers, and any special requirements at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and no-show terms depend on the trip, vehicle class, and service date. The terms in the written confirmation or service agreement control the reservation.
For events, weddings, and multi-vehicle bookings, cancellation terms may differ and will be specified in the service agreement provided at the time of booking. For airline cancellations or major schedule changes, contact the reservation team promptly and ask which cancellation or rebooking terms apply.
Payment Terms
The reservation team will state the accepted payment method, authorization timing, and charge schedule before confirmation. Do not send full card details through ordinary email or a free-text website field.
Corporate billing terms are available only when approved in writing. The account agreement will state the billing cycle, due date, accepted payment methods, and any late charges; website references to account support do not create credit terms.
Published prices are starting rates. Confirm tolls, gratuity, waiting time, parking, airport fees, date-specific charges, and every other inclusion in the written quote.
Hourly bookings are subject to a 3-hour minimum. Time is calculated from the starting point, billing increments, overtime treatment, and any travel or garage time will be stated in the written quote.
Vehicle Rules & Policies
To maintain the quality and condition of our luxury fleet for all clients, the following rules apply to all passengers:
- No Smoking: Smoking, vaping, and the use of any tobacco or cannabis products is prohibited in the vehicle. The confirmation or service agreement will state any cleaning charge that may apply.
- Food & Beverages: Light beverages are permitted. Food is permitted at the passenger’s discretion, but spills and stains that require professional cleaning may result in a charge stated by the operator.
- Excessive Soiling: Excessive soiling of the vehicle interior may result in a cleaning or reconditioning charge based on the work required.
- Passenger Conduct: All passengers are expected to treat the vehicle, the chauffeur, and the equipment with respect. We reserve the right to terminate a trip immediately if a passenger engages in abusive, threatening, or illegal behavior. The full fare will still be charged.
- Seatbelts: All passengers are required to wear seatbelts at all times while the vehicle is in motion, in compliance with New York State law.
- Child Safety: Request the required child-seat type when booking and confirm availability, installation responsibility, and any charge before the trip.
Liability
Ask the reservation team to confirm the operating carrier and any licensing, insurance, permit, or vehicle requirement that matters for your trip before booking.
We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, construction, accidents, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. While we track flights in real time and adjust pickup times accordingly, we are not liable for missed flights due to circumstances outside our control. Flight monitoring and pickup adjustments must be confirmed for the specific airport reservation.
We are not responsible for personal belongings left in our vehicles, though we make every reasonable effort to recover and return lost items. Please report lost items within 24 hours by calling (888) 995-3383.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific trip giving rise to the claim.
Gratuity
Sedan and SUV rates include gratuity and fees. S-Class and Sprinter are starting rates; the booking form confirms your final price, which can vary with taxes, tolls and availability. Ask how gratuity is handled before confirming the reservation.
Available gratuity methods may depend on the operator and payment process. The reservation team can confirm the options for an individual trip or approved account.
Service Area
Our primary service area includes all five boroughs of New York City (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island), Long Island (including the Hamptons), Westchester County, Fairfield County Connecticut (Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk, and surrounding areas), and northern New Jersey.
We also provide long-distance service to and from Philadelphia, Boston, Washington DC, Atlantic City, the Catskills, and other destinations by request. Long-distance trips are priced on a per-route basis. Contact us for a quote.
Force Majeure
Chauffeur Services NYC shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, severe weather events, pandemics, government actions or orders, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, labor disputes, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, road closures, and major traffic incidents.
In the event of a force majeure occurrence that prevents us from fulfilling a confirmed booking, we will make every reasonable effort to provide alternative transportation or notify you as early as possible. No cancellation fees will be charged in force majeure situations.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
For corporate accounts, material changes to these Terms will be communicated to your designated account administrator at least 30 days before they take effect.
